Front Seats removal HELP before I go BOOM

I'm in the middle of swapping my front seats for some buckets and think I may have come across a stumbling block... I've been reading about undoing the airbag and pretensioner plugs under the seats and so far I'm in the middle of removing the passenger seat first and have undone the pretensioner plug but I don't seem to have the grey/yellow airbag plug but wires that have been stuck together then wrapped in tape (see pic) Now I'm assuming that the plug has been cut off at some point or am I looking in the wrong place for the plug?!? If not then do I just fix my resistor to the blue and brown wires? What do I do with the single black wire?
I've disconnected the battery so hopefully I won't go BOOM when I cut the wires lol.
Any advice guys n girls?!?

Hi

No your looking in the right place on the phase 1's the had a problem with the connectors being a bit crap and if you put a stress on the seat the connector would come appart and then the airbag light would come on.

So when people took the car back to renault in some cases they would solder the cables together and do away with the connector ?..... not completely sure why as there is a better way to resolve the issue.

any way just cut the cables one at a time and fit the resistor accross the cables they should go accross and you'll be fine.
