Front Shocks 172 non-cup

Apologies if this has been asked many times before, but I couldn't find a reassuring answer when "searching the forum". I am wanting genuine Renault front shocks for a 172 non-cup version. I am a little confused after reading Ad's for genuine front shocks on Ebay. Are 172 front shocks, the same as 172 cup/182 cup shocks?? or are 172's different but 172 cup/182 cup shocks will fit?? Hope someone can help - Thanks

172 cup shocks will fit on a non cup 172.
