front wipers not working

i have a 2002 clio extreme 1.2
on the weekend the front wipers stopped working so i checked the fuses on the passenge side dash ok, took the motor off and the wiper control, and connected them on to my grand fathers clio they both work, so i am abit stuck is there someting i have missed is there a relay somewhere i can replace or have i got to take it to the main stealer and have it fixed.

there is a relay somewhere under the passenger footwell iirc. I can hear it click everytime the wipers turn on.

Can you still hear a click?

only some times could i try the one off my grands is it a black square thing at the back of the wires connect
