You're slipping. It's all the torques and seats.LOL twice in one day. c**t -x-
It's pearl black, the wrap is a matt clear coat from what I've heard.Who is going to be first to take the wrap off and see what colour it is underneath...
But financially, surely the 500 will retain more?Hmmm this is going to sound predicatble from an owner of the vanilla RS but I've decided it's a bit gay. I'd personally rather spend the cash on mods that give the standard car hero 6-pots, the same power but more torque, and a months holiday in Maastricht getting toasted.
Fair play to buyers though, although most won't be driven as intended anyway.
But financially, surely the 500 will retain more?
So sadYeah it will without doubt, but I imagine the ones that hold super value will be dry storage examples that have never been driven.
^ funny how business works eh...
do you not think this is a piss take anyway?
first we'll bring out a megane its a special model thats far quicker than any other model we will sell loads, people will buy it....
reeto guys lets bring out a team F1 model thats better than that RS model we did...
Guys do you not think we could charge even more if we made a special model of a special model and call it an R-26-R thats not that much better with worse paint. All the sad gits that love our cars will buy them and never drive them to find that there actually no better than the first RS we released, Win win situation for us?
35k is a lot of money...
I can just see in years to come people (Ford nuts mainly) saying I wish I'd bought one of these... similar to cosworths and other RS' I can see it holding value or even increasing in value.... Look at the prices of MK1 FRS
I just think renault have exploited every possible angle and model 19 times each on every sport model they have made.I cant think of another car maker who has had so many variations of a certain sport model.
I'm not sure what you mean? Looking at MK1 Focus RS' many are around £8-£11k, I'm sure new they were £25k? that's a hefty drop but not bad for the age of the car.
To get appreciating like the silly RS500 values it will take decades IF they will appreciate that is, and I don't think they will like the 80s Cosworth has IMO as it doesn't have any direct motorsport connection being FWD (or does it?) so it will basically hold it's value a lot better than a normal Focus but it will certainly be no "investment" (much like 99% of cars). The only time prices may be over RRP is when new whilst there is a rush to be first to own one (ebay link for example)
The original Rs500 where well over 50% of their value a good few years back, In the height of them being nicked and driven through a dixons window, Look at the prices of them now, if its a minter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Doesn't matter why. Just because it doesn't make sense to you/me/bob doesn't change the fact that there are buyers out there willing to pay lots.Why.
Mk 1 was 20k new so to retain 50% or more of the value over 7 years or more in my eyes is superb
I have to agree in this case.Hmmm this is going to sound predicatble from an owner of the vanilla RS but I've decided it's a bit gay. I'd personally rather spend the cash on mods that give the standard car hero 6-pots, the same power but more torque, and a months holiday in Maastricht getting toasted.
