just went shopping to asda, as i was coming out pushin the trolley, i heard my car alarm goin off, as i got closer, a big ford galaxy with a woman driver was reversing out, i thought ah her exhaust probly set it off or something.... got closer, n shed took out my fuckin back bumper.

anyway she drove off like nothin had happened, but you have to go all the way round to the exit, so i ran over to where i could meet her.. told her to drop her window..

i said excuse me, youve just taken out my rear bumper..

this middle/old aged womans like no i havnt n her daughters like we havnt touched it honestly!

i said ive just watched you reverse from the spot and take out my bumper, she was still i havnt touched it!

i laughed and said f**k it, leave it, walked off.

goin back to the car a woman over the road was like has she done much damage? im like well shes damaged it yeah, b**ch says she didnt touch it though, this womans like yea i saw her take it out.

now i wouldnt mind if when i asked the woman if shed have said look im sorry i took it out, i wouldnt have said a thing, but what pisses me off is the fact she blatantly fuckin lied to me.. and her daughter did too!

Someone drove into my dads car and drove off. He came back to the car and a carpark attendent had got the womans reg number. There was hardly any damage, tiny dent in the passenger door that you could hardly see. He thought he'd have to fork out the £800 that he was quoted. He rung his insurance company and they said that the woman was insured with them to and that they would sort it out and he wouldn't have to do a thing. Worth going to the supermarket and seeing if they have CCTV, all you need is the reg number and a witness.

Personally I really think you shoud go to the little effort of asking if they have CCTV. It could save you some money.

Also at the moment the silly cow will think shes got away with it, so next time she does it, she'll drive off again. If you do something about it then next time she might think twice about driving off.

Report it to police - preferably within 24 hours. As already said, she's committed two offences, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to pass her details.

She could get 6 points for those two, worth doing just to piss her off! That'll teach her a lesson. Get the CCTV and witness details (the witness may have the number also). If you report it tonight they can do the address call on in a few hours!! Bloody middle aged women drivers. They never thank you when you let them out either, ever notice that?

Whaaa no, people not reporting crimes make the Government think there's no big problem.

Same with people who get a badge or something nicked of their car, if only a few people report it then the Government don't give authorisation for the police to fund investigations into that sort of thing.

Was speaking to a police officer the other day, they know they could stop a lot of car crime in my area just by one simple stake out - no funding to do so.

Crime keeps going up and up and the Goverment ignore it - there are less PC's in my area working on shift, than there were 3 years ago, trust me I know!

The government want ALL crimes investigated. Every job a PC goes to involves an investigation - its not simply a case of nicking someone, job done next please, there will be an ivestigation to do, statements to take etc, and when the cr2p jobs come in they have to spend their time investigating them, taking them off the streets for the proper stuff. Sometimes these 'small' jobs take months to finish.

Not saying minor crime shouldnt be investigated, but there should be enough police to cope with the amount of calls which at present there isnt.

Not true, car park is still a public highway like anywhere else, even if its on 'private land'. Anywhere that opens itself to the public, private land or not is covered. I think the definition of highway is "any place where the public have general access to" or something.
