Fuel Gauge

When the car is off the fuel gauge goes to full and when the ignition is on or when the car is running it goes to the current level?

any1 else had this problem?

Care to elaborate? All guages reset when you turn the car off dude? Sounds normal to me?

When i turn the ignition off the fuel gauge sits at full (the tank is empty) and when i turn the ignition on it drops down again.

My prev car never done this so im assuming there is a problem

Were the dials EXACTLY the same on both cars??

Different dials do diff things, I can't remember which way mine go tbh, I'll check tmrw night though.

no they were diff but iv never seen any car i have worked on do this :S
