Fuel injector rail and fuel pressure regulator ????

On the right hand side of the fuel rail should there be anythink connected on the right hand side where the regulator is ?

i don't remember anythink being connected on the r.h.s but my friend was asking

I have been looking at pics of fuel rail and only see a connection on the left hand of rail which I have done

is it not to do with ph1 and ph2 being different as in one runs a return line

Late ph1's didn't have a regulator either.

ph1's generally have a pressure regulator.

Mines a 53 plate ph2 but don't remover if there should be a return on the right or not ?????

Just putting it all back together and wasn't sure if somethink was missing
