First post here.
Just been towed home by AA. I have a recently purchased 2000 8 valve Clio sport. Will not start. Mechanic looked at it and cannot fathom it. It turns over fine but will not fire. There is a strong spark at the plugs and with the air filter off AA guy poured small amount of petrol down into injectors and car fired up straight away. So I assume not immobiliser. Petrol pipe on the offside side of the engine spurted petrol out whenn AA pulled it off. He checked fuel pump under seat and it is running and petrol spurted out when pipe pulled off. AA thinks it is something simple related to fuel but does not know beyond that. I assume its not electrical but...
Just looking under bonnet, under the black cover near battery there are some black [I think} relays as well as a few fuses. Anybody know how many relays there should be?
