Fuel Tank Return Pipe From Carbon Canister, will it leak fuel?

Basically i want to know if the clio ends up on its roof will the pipe the goes to the carbon canister from the fuel tank leak fuel? The pipe has been cut so it just venting to the air.

Can i just put a bung in the end of that pipe or do i need an actuall none return valve.


Any help would be great

From what I've read on here I would definitely bung it. Non return would be pointless if it's not going anywhere.

Bung it.

If the tank is out you can cap it off right at the tank. Thats what we did with ours
