Fuel tank size/range

Now what Im in at the moment drinks like theres no tomorrow...the fuel light is normally on before 300 miles and its gasping come 330...and this is with a 60 litre tank.

What size is the 172/Cups tank, and how far do you get during normal driving (normal being a mix of motorway, A/B-roads, and giving it a serious thrashing on a regular basis)?

50 litres - same range as yours as its more economical.

its a 50L tank but most ive ever got in after running 25 miles on red light was 46L

Hmmm... How often are petrol pumps calibrated/checked I wonder?

The fuel stations have massivly accurate pumps there tollerances are tiny.

I get 250 out of half a tank (about £20) the fuel gauge on the CLio isnt to accurate 1/2 emply seem to realy mean 1/3 empty
