Full beam not working!

When I pull the left stalk back to go to full beam I get nothing! Worringly, the blue light on the dashboard doesnt even come on. Ive checked the fuses for both sides but theyre fine. I can hear the stalk click when I pull it back so Im not sure that its a prob with the stalk itself.

I was messing around with the stereo at the weekend and theres a chance that I could have unplugged something with in the car. But then again, it could be that they werent working long before that.

If its of any help, one of the my xenons has been a bit intermittent recently but I think Ive traced that back to a bad connection to the bulb.

I have no idea what else to try so any advice you people can give would be great!! Any ideas...

if u can hear a click, that will prob be the relay! cant really suggest anything mate without a diagram

Have you checked all the bulbs mate?

Yeah, the bulbs seem to be fine. There would appear to be something seriously wrong given that the dash light doesnt come on either.

That headlight that I thought Id fixed isnt working again either! No night driving for me then...

Is it still under warranty mate?

if i remember correctly mate, the headlights are seperately wired ie not in series therefore seems a common problem to both so either the main fuse or the stalk switch at fault? try getting hold of a multi meter and check you have voltage coming in?

No its not under warranty any more. Ill see about having a play around with a multimeter tomorrow.

im off work till next week so cant check the diagram but you need to check the voltage out of the stalk on the full beam track. if you dont sort anything by next week pm me.
