Full beam on mk2 172

Hey all,
Have put halfords rally bulbs (H7) in for full beam bulbs (the 80w ones) have been reading some articles and am very tempted to pop down my local motor store and just buy some philips blue 55w bulbs.
Mainly because i dont want to burn any wiring out lol.
Has anyone had issues with these bulbs?
also if you do recommend to change which ones should i go for instead?
Obviously got the HID's in for dipped beam already

Ive got the halford sb (super brilliance) bulbs in my full beams, and they're brilliant. The difference on the lanes at night is amazing. Got a set in my dipped beams too (172 cup), and looks like i have xenons, lol.

Well worth it imo.

why bother to change i cant think that i have ever used my main for driving as the xenons mean there is just no need

I am aware they are illegal, were put in the car for when it was on a stand, have not had a chance to change the bulbs back yet and have not used full beam when they have been in. The person who changed the bulbs originally lost my normal ones, was asking about replacments as he has offered to pay and am obviously asking for advice as to what ones i should put it in thier place.
Its also illegal to drive without washer fluid hmmmmm

Realise this main sound a bit harsh, didnt mean it to come out wrongly
