Full beam problem

i'm having problem with my full beam. It won't turn on at all on my mk 3. when i does come on i can't turn it off at all. I have to turn all my light off then on again to go back to dip beam. Does anyone know what this could be?

thats what i thought but did not wanted to buy a new stalk if that was not the problem

Ideally a session on CLIP looking at the lighting parameters will confirm/deny the switch fault but it deffo sounds like one to me to.
