Fullrun tyres any good?

Im after 205 40 17 tyres, and am looking at budget, i only hav a 1.2 Dynamique so i dont drive it that hard much. I have nankangs at the moment and some other cheap ones, tho on the standard alloys. I know the reputation that follows nankangs but tbh i just thought it was my car that was soo slippy in the wet on cornering, never had other tryres to compare against. I have seen some fullrun tyres and just wopndering if anyone has experienced them and what they think. Next thing up from this other than nankangs is kumho. if i got 2 kumho and 2 nankang, should i put the nankangs on the rear, seeing as the clios seemto constantly understear. Advice is appreciated. Tyres are too expensive man, its rubber? :dapprove:

I've never heard of fullrun tyres at all, they sound totally budget to me.

One thing - never scrimp on your tyres at all, remember they are the only things in contact with the road.

Clarkie runs Nankangs on his mk1 vee & rates them highly, if they were crap etc he wouldn't use them.

thanks for the advice, but i have seen other threads on here that simply rip into nankangs in every way. i am either going to get nankang ns2's or federals, any1 experienced federals. i tihnk they have directional tread pattern, and i dont think the nankang ns2 does.

Hi there, might be worth trying nexen n3000 tyres, have 2 on the rear of my 172 cup and so far been very immpressed! They were avout £60 a corner fitted for the 205/45/16's I had some other cheap make before and the inner sidewall blew out, so I checked on these before fitting and they have a very solid construction, grip is good to, not much road noise compared with the last set either!

fullrun's not to bad but for £57 delivered each tyre you can get toyo t1R's.

Fullrun isn't actually a tyre manufacturer. Its actually quite a small company, with only 50 employees, that imports raw materials for various Chinese tyre manufacturers. It has those manufacturers manufacture tyres with the Fullrun brand and others on them. And it exports those tyres and other manufacturers own brands to the Americas and Europe.

Chinese companies will manufacture to spec for anyone, and put whatever brand you want on what they produce. Fullrun branded tyres are an example of that. You could buy some Fullrun branded tyres that were great, and buy a different size that had been manufactured by another company in another factory that were crap.
