lol, iv heard the latest offering from k&n runs 1.4 bar safely on a pre induction kit n/a engine with no internal mods and is cheap on insurance

I still cant see how its forced with the viper? Not in the sense that a turbo is where air is compressed etc

what is the name of this thread?

is it "forced induction kit names" No.

forced air induction is different from iduction kits, they dont feed on ambient air being forced into the engine bay...

ram chargers etc have special designed mountings etc, that sit right behind the grille, and there is no escape for air getting in its path, they are usually carbon fibre, etc and there is no where for the air to go, except into the engine... hence forced induction

they protect from engine heat etc a lot better

do a search for ram-airs web site and youll see the difference between them and normal IKs

Ok this is off topic but im gonna do it.

"Ram air" effect dont work on cars unless your doing like 180mph or sommat silly like that.

it works on bikes because of the enclosure design.

Sealed induction kits maybe confused with "ram air"
