Game buy stock from Tesco

Nothing illegal going on here, but still utterly wrong. I'm thinking this pre-owned business is getting a little out of hand. Plenty of staff coming out of the wood work suggesting that they are being reprimanded for not taking part in this as well.

At least in this case they are actually selling the stock as used, apparently that's not always been the case.

We used to get a trade magazine called MCV delivered to work and all the indie shops would do it all the time and openly admit it in there.

The trade price they were given due to their low volumes was more expensive than Tesco etc would retail it at. So they'd order none, go to Tesco on launch, buy some and stick their mark up on that. Can't blame them for that at all.

Game are massively expensive anyway. I'm surprised they're selling them as used though. I bet the docs say that but it's bound to come out that some mangers were selling them as new to boost profit.

Used to do it all the time for MVC/Musiczone... Tesco were selling stock on release date cheaper than we were buying in.
As a business decision it was a no brainer tbh
