hiya guys i just bought my clio yday and the ride is very very bumpy and although its fun to drive my passengers dont c the funny side of things when their head is bouncing off the windows lol. currently it is lowered 90mm and has 17'' superleggras with 205-40-17 rubber, is there anyway i can improve the ride without sacrificing the looks?

if i got the ride height increased and put on 205-45-17 all round would that make much difference?or should i go for 16's?the car looks soo good at the moment but not very practical

loose the 17s problem will be alot better.

loose the GAZ coil overs the problem will be rectified, they are known for their crash crash properties

ok if i get rid of them and put the standard shocks back on, whats the lowest springs i can get for the 172?

16s are the way to go, and 60mm down, preferably on coilies

hi there. don't want to worry you, but i have recently fitted a gold kit to my ph2 172, and am about to return a second set of collapsed rear springs. has anyone else bought a set of these and had a similar problem? it is only the rear egg springs, but they are so collapsed that i had about 10mm of travel before they bottomed out!!!
