gearbox trouble

Im having trouble with selecting first gear sometimes its fine and other times its not it feels like im pushing on a brick wall to get it in sometimes then other times it goes in easy its the same if its hot or cold moving or stopped

the box was rebuilt by reanult 2k ago

just wondering if changing the oil might help? if so how much would a garage charge me for doing this also to check the linkages are ok? as i think this may be the prob but im no expert lol

any help would be great cheers

just been out in it now for 30 mins while i dropped the gf off at a party and it was fine....

im not a pro but i wouldnt have thought it would be the oil, i would think it was the clucth but thats a guess.

if you hold it in the 'stuck position' release the clutch and then disengage the clutch again it does it drop in?
