i bought them from a place called srbpower, they are xxr 527's and im pretty sure they do them in 18 and 19 to
I liked the standard Monza wheels. Although I do like the OEM+ look, hense my Ed30 wheels

A so called wheel specialist sold me the black spigots. I was told these were the correct size for the car and wheels I have. After feeling vibration through my steering wheel I thought I'd look in to it a bit more. Turns out the "specialist" was wrong. Lesson to be learnt if you want something doing properly do it yourself.

allegedly under hotter temperatures and strain of a tuned engine these are apparently a weak point and tend to fail. so im just trying to make the car as reliable as possible before tuning. along with removing the cover and sound deadening from the supercharger which should drop temps a little to

Looks bloody good that, i would love to see the wheels in anthracite.
I'm not a fan of black wheels full stop. I prefer them on the silver Monzas.

i never liked the silver on mine as there didn't seem enough contrast between the body and wheels
same as black wheels never seem to look right on black cars imho
Black on black is terrible! Proper council estate style...

enlighten me. im yet to see a polo like mine, a lad had the same wheels but his car was decked, wich imo is pointless because i bought a gti to drive how it should be.
All you have to do is google "polo" + "XXR" and you find a replica of your car about 20mm lower -
Yellow fogs and stickers too...
Don't take this wrong, I like the car. Its just some touches ruining for me. But then its not my car.

that is the car i was on about in my post, his car is on air iirc and now looks nothing like that.
the stickers are parts fitted to the car
the wheels are a different offset to the pic above i went for 8.25 et35 for a wider track with minimal issues
the yellow fogs yes thats a 'scene' thing
i originally wanted to go for bbs ch for the oem+ look but they arnt available in the size needed and with the extra work needed to fit them it just wasn't practical
and as you said its my car so not everyone has to like it, but im yet to have someone say to me they dont like the look of it in the flesh.
i like to see other peoples opinion so don't take it as im being funny about it.

bit of an update, arches were rolled for the track day at brands.
stickers have been removed ! have to admit it does look allot cleaner now
then off to amd essex for the mapping and exhaust (exhaust vid hopefully later )
we left at 3 in the morning to get there for 8
and the results were 233hp and 240lbft torque wich im very pleased with
and finaly a few pics at the track day as iv just seen a few members from CS were there to
