Geting aerial off

I have tried it with a spanner and pliars, but it just dont wanna move, i assume it is just one of those screw in ones, but it is the stanard Renault one.

Any ways i can get it off, prefferabley as easy as poss.

older clios the aerial mast unscrews from the base. on some of the newer models the base and mast are togethor so you have to undo the nut on the inside of the car roof.

how old is the car and which model is it?

Its a MK1 PH3.

I have tried unscrewing it from the base of the aerial (on the outside), but it seems to be stuck, tried it with pliars and a spanner, but just dont wanna move.

remove the centre console where your interior light sits

have a look up inside there to beneath your aerial and unscrew the nut, and bobs your uncle.

the aerial itself is more or less a complete unit attached to the base so you have to unscrew it from the inside man

how about getting the aerial off a Cliosport MK1.....bladdy rediculous having a whip on the roof!

To get the arial off.. you just unscrew it from the roof!

If you mean get the whole lot off.. arial, base etc.. then open the centre console.. but by the sounds of it, you just need to unscrew the bit ontop of the car!

the top bit is completely stuck on, i have tried everything to get it off, so i thought i would take it all off, and then replace it all, then put a bee sting on when that is done.

hassle, but gets the job done.

Bloody aerial has put loadsa little scratches on the roof where it has been windy and blown down, just so bloody long.
