getting a colour match for wheels??

Hey guys,

the wheels in question are Cades Eros Gold, I am needing to find a colour code for these or a extremely close colour match so I can source some paint in the same colour....

herein lies the problem because the scope/spectrometer that bodyshops would use cant detect the colour as there is not a large enough flat area to allow the scope to enclose the area to eliminate the light....

and after searching for the past 3 weeks on google I am no closer to a colour code or colour match :/

anyone have any ideas?

Any help will be very much appreciated asap so I can buy the paint tomorrow morning

although trying to be ever helpful the helpdesk has offered 2 solutions....

1st: sell me a single Cades Jadis Gold (which is the same colour) so I can use that to get a colour match....

2nd: I buy a spectrometer (circa £150) and travel to Luton to scan one of their wheels....

any decent bodyshop/paint supplers will have colour chips and will be able to find a gold close to or the same

Tried today and struck lucky with my third paint shop :)

The guy is gunna borrow my wheel for half hour next weekend and mix a damn near perfect match by eye :)

We tried the colour chips and the closest was about 10 or so shades off lol
