Getting rid of the smell of fuel???

So I borrowed someones car from work to pick a lawnmower up from my old man and cannot get rid of the smell of fuel. I had a plastic boot liner thing in it so have washed and scrubbed that but no joy, it still reeks of fuel!! have also shampoo'd the boot carpet just incase anything had spilled onto it...

Any ideas what could help it?

There are quite a few odour eater type products on the market, all available from Halfrauds. Make sure you buy one that is a neutralising product, not just a cover up.

Failing that, I'm certain Febreeze can't do any damage!
