Going from aftermarket (KTR/PMS) top mounts to standard.

Can someone clarify the way it goes. I'm taking off my K-tec ones and putting standard ones back on.

Pretty sure it's shock, then bearing, bottom cup, then sleeve, flat washer, shock nut, through turret and then top cup.

Also what torque setting on the top nut. It's been a while since I mucked about with them and I never had the new "washer" style ones.

Lastly, what have people used to bung/cover up the old drill holes?

Mark what you doing with the ktec mounts? Mine need replacing and wondered what your thoughts are on them?. Also what sort of money are you after, fellow rb brother :)

@imprezaworks I was replying in here anyway so no need to PM now. My KTR top mounts are provisionally sold bud. I like the look of them in the bay and it feels better when your turning at a fast pace, but over bumps it can be a little harsh. I have cooksports anyway which are a little stiff anyway so the top mounts doesn't help.

@bashracing Thank you. If the washer is the only change, do I actually need it? Thought I read that they wasn't good.

That's what I thought I read. I shall do that then.

Thank you chaps.

Now, what have people done to the existing bolt holes that will remain in the turrets? I presume just left them? Thinking of putting some bung in there but unsure if that will catch on the original mounts.
