Good place for Cam and Aux Belt change ?

  182 Trophy
Anybody know of a trustworthy place to take my Trophy for cam and aux belt replacement in the Midlands ( I'm in Nottingham ). I've seen quite a few people mention Birchmore but it's a bit of a journey.

The local garage quoted me £700 which I think is rather pricey.

There aren't many specialists in the Midlands unfortunately.
Off the top of my head I can think of:

BTM Performance (Birmingham)
JAM Sport (Northampton)

  Titanium 182
Birchdown in cheshire BTM performance Birmingham or a bit further north there's Hutchies garage and RS murray in Leeds.

Birchdown have a £406 deal on ATM.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Always good to have a recommendation. Also suggest that my local place are trying it on. Especially as the quoted me £90 for the replacement of the rear exhaust mounts.

Not always worth going to the 'cheapest' place as sometimes you don't know what your getting for your money, so make sure you see a specialist. BTM/Birchdown will see you right.

Very true Maynard, "cheapest isn't always bestest" but then again the same can be said for paying more than is needed! There's lots of so called "Specialists" out there that have nothing more than the Autodata process and the balls to give it a go. Sometimes, when money is tight you can't go wrong with them but if it goes wrong they run for the hills leaving you out of pocket and with a broken motor... you pay your money and take your chance.

Now, I've not paid my traders fee's yet so I won't name drop/advertise services just yet but I've always found that its worth going somewhere that you trust and its with that platform in mind that I’ve built my business up over the years. I've been servicing Renault vehicles in Nottingham and the East Midlands for 10 years now and all of my customers have come back. My work is also warranted, protected by professional indemnities and I’m actually a nice person just trying to earn a living off repeat business rather than having your pants down once and never seeing you again.

we charge £600 and were a dealer, so for an independant to want more, is silly !

Brun, Do you work at St Helens AC? If so i see that RUK have left you off the RS Official Dealer list? Seems a shame as you tend to be quite active on CS and know what a competitive price is.

You'll be there in little over an hour mate and like said above they have a courtesy van, plus quite possibly the best reputations on here for their work and the price they charge.

P.S. They also have a coffee machine  (might as well drag that argument back up again lol).
