Good quality in ear headphones..

  6/468 17poo
Hello, ive always used dj headphones when walking around because i like the sound of my music but as summer is just around the corner i want some good quality in ear headphones with plenty of bass and sound good without distortion,

i dont want them ones with the gay covers as they dont fit my ears for s**t, anyone got any ideas?

Ryan

I've got some "decent" Sennhaiser ones but even they aren't that great for quality. Much prefer my full size ones but then again I don't use them outside the house! lol

hmmm perhaps ill just buy another set of the big ones i have at the mo, just feel a bit nobby with em at the moment, surely someone must make so good ones!!??!

I guess it's me comparing them to full sized ones, which they don't, big improvement over standard ipod ones though.

Anyone got these shure e2c's?as these seem pretty neat but the price label of 50 notes seem alot!are they good?

Shure of any description are good stuff, just they can lack a bit of bass imo. The midrange and treble is sublime though as they are noise cancelling due to the in-ear canal fit. Etymotic are also fantastic.

hhhhmm ebay is very tempting with e2s being 50 notes, seems steep for earphones but im fed up with huge headphones, are they very comfortable??wanna try them out as alot of in ear phones dont fit, the ones with w800i just fall out!

The Shure headphones won't fall out mate, they literally plug into your ear drum because of the shaping if you use the correct foams/rubbers. They dont use batteries, and yes you have to be careful as you seriously can't hear cars/trains coming with them fitted.

they sound like the shizzle then!although i do like my bass so perhaps ill have to find someone whos already got them!

can we just make sure they are a better shape then the ones u get with a w800, am i wasting peoples time, lol!

Cheers everyone, if anyones got any more comments let me know, Ryan

If they're fitted properly then the bass isn't a problem; that is providing your musical taste is vaaried. If your a dNb head, then i think they would disappoint. Next to some good cans, they will also sound low on bass, but thats to be expected anyway. Personally i'd recommend them mate, if you fit them correctly, they will not fall out as they literally extend right into your ear canal!

Plump for them , i doubt you'd be disappointed, far from it. Just trying to give a good acocunt of them.

well most of the stuff i listen to is dance/hip hop/electro bit of rock, so they should be all right, seen some on ebay for £50 so may opt for them if paypal accept my card!!
anyone else?also seen some e2c's but there gaming ones but surely there the same headphones just silly packaging?

Soory to bring up and old thread but I got an Ipod for Christmas which i love, but I think the earphones that came with it are pretty awful

I absolutely love music and Im really interested in the Shure range as Shure are well known for their quality, but how comfortable or awkward are those 'in ear' earphones to wear? Ive got images in my head of them getting stuck in my ear! lol is that likely?

Any others as good as the Shure?

i got the shure ones, and you get 9 different sets of ear plugs, so you are bound to find a good fit.. and once in, you really cant hear anything in the background.. the bass isnt great, but its enough, they dont sound tinny etc.. they are by far loud enough, train/plane/bus anywhere...

not got much chance of them getting stuck, they are just like earplugs, with the actual earphone right in the middle

i love my sony fontopia in ear ones. Some give them bad reviews saying the cabling can come apart but ive had mine 2 years and they still look like new. Amazing sound quality and really comfy. Think they're about 28 quid

thanks for the replies, are the Sony ones of the same type of design as the Shures? i.e do they fit in the ear canal?

I like the fact that the Shures apparently produce a really crisp clear sound, with not a great amount of base which would suit me fine as most of my music isnt that base heavy, but with the noise cancelling thing im a bit worried about hearing cars and stuff when crossing the road lol

Has anyone ever used Shure's e5c. I was looking at getting a pair, but I ended up getting proper headphones (Bose QC2) as you get more for your money LOL

I reckon those Shures sound the tits though.
