Good scratch/dent remover near Aldershot/Guildford

Hi,

I'm in need of getting a few minor stone chips, scratches and dings repaired. I also need my alloys refurbishing.

Anyone know where I can get these things done to a very highest standard - mobile service or garage - I don't mind...

I'm located on Surrey/hampshire boarder so anywhere near Guildford, Aldershot or Fanborough would do.

Does anyone know if the mobile service Car Medic are any good or is it always better to have it done by a proper body specialist garage?

mate, try Halfords in Guildford Ladymead, very cheap, they can also come to your house for a premium of £20 and with a larger chain you are more likely to have it sotred if it goes wrong. Alloys = £65, bumper scuffs = £65, scratch repair is £85 per panel think inc VAT. They did an excellent job on my clio.

yeah, they use a probe and stick it against the wheel to get the colour, in the same way that they do this at DIY stores to colour match paint. My friend had his alloys done there too and they look brand new. Its not actually the Halfords staff that do it, 2wice a week they have a specialist spend the day there so you have to book in advance.
