Is anyone going to this, this year?

Im looking at either doing the Thursday and Friday to avoid the hordes of people who'll take the kids or have the Friday to Saturday incase they do some thing extra on the Saturday.

Who has been before? And can you recommend which days are likely to be best?

I've always gone on the Saturday, busy and tiring and hordes of people. Used to still be able to get close to cars and people not so any more. If you can go on the Friday it is a bit quieter but I don't know if it is as active as at the weekend. Some of the named drivers are only there at the weekend, so the F1s would be driven by test drivers.

I've been for the last 3 years, Sunday each time. This year I hope to go on either friday, or Saturday.

Sunday is the best day to go, but also the busiest!

Well im looking at doing two days, dont know if i could do it all in one day.
Anyone looking at going, if you dont mind sharing as im thinking about getting a travel lodge near'ish to the place for the night before a long drive back to sunny Nottingham.

I went last year. Was amazing - the supercars are just epic, littered around the paddock. Zondas, Veyrons etc. Hillclimb is awesome especially if you like "older" racecars etc, and the super dusty forest rally stage is great too. I went on the Friday, by lunchtime I'd met both Kris Meeke and Ken Block, and had a lengthly casual conversation with Ken & his head mechanic about the set-up of the MWRT Focus as if we were stood in the pub!
I'm well up for going again this year - tbh I couldn't miss it! Definitely recommended!

Anyone up for trying to get a group of us together to go for the day or 2 days, ive never been an none of my mates up here want to go because of the distance, so some one willing to walk with me for the day would be highly appreiciated.
