Got a choice to make this weekend.... what u think folks?

Well... I have the money in the bank for a new 'ish car... either a 182 (2004) thats in

Artic blue, or a newer Fiesta ST (2005) in blue

both with very low mileage, but I dont know what to go for.. the faster car? (182) or the lesser fast car that is newer and less likely to race it like I stole it everywhere.

I take it you have driven a 182 and ST to compare. Hot Vs Warm.

Both good cars. ST is better build quality, newer, better interior and arguably a bit rarer ATM, the 182 is faster, more fun, better looking IMO...

182 for me.

Personally, if i were going to buy a car over the Clio for it's new-ness and percieved quality, it definetly wouldn't be a Ford, it would be a Cooper S.

I'd agree with whats been said the 182 might be the quicker car but if you want fast get a superbike theres more to cars than speed.

Having raced an ST the other day in my 172, i'd take the Clio everytime. Having said that i prefer the look of the clio too, although the interior of the Ford is likely to rattle less.

For me would be a 182.

I'd imagine the VTS would actually be a touch quicker at lower speeds, normally just about matches the RS's up to 60/80.

The VTS is much quicker according to a Google search.

"Performance ford times the st150 at 8.3 0-60, 29.8 0-100"

"Saxo 0-60 7.7 0-100bhp 22.4 120bhp"

That means a 182 is 10 secs quicker to 100mph. Owned!
