Got a piece of my dash wrapped in vinyl...

Car  Megane R26
So, I've never really been happy with the silver centre section of my dash - it has always been covered in a weird coating which refused to be cleaned up fully.

My 'mate' had a go at doing it too, which resulted in this lovely black mark!!

Not good! So, it's either buy a new one £300!! Or get it wrapped! I opted for the wrap, which cost me £80 all in (took about 90 mins - Protex Films, Coventry). The job isn't as 'perfect' as I'd like/expect, but it's very good!

However, I'm not totally sure it looks right with the surrounding mundane black plastics?? Thoughts?

Also, I added the F1 decals (a delete option on the car from new) to the front and rear bumpers. Please excuse the state of my car - no tyre dressing!! :newbie:

I kind of like them, makes it look a bit less bland :)

Thanks,

Ive done the dash strips on my clio in that stuff and I like it, same with your meg..... Makes it stand out that little bit more

£80 there having a laugh at that price, i done the whole of my m3 interior my self and only cost me £30
looks good mate but £80 is taking the piss imo

I quite like it, im assuming they used the di-noc stuff?

Perhaps silver carbon fibre would have matched the black plastics more but as someone said above, it makes it stand out.

Should have just stickerbombed it yourself. Doesn't look bad though but I have to agree £80 seems steep especially if they didn't do a perfect job.

Yeah, was the 3M dinoc stuff I believe.

Bought some myself to have a play about with. Doesn't seem too tough to do really. Hardest part is removing the plastics from the car!

How much!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Looks good but did they lube you up?

I did a few bits on my car.
15 quid for 120cm by 30cm perfect for doing almost anything on the car. bullets, fog surrounds, interior light surround ,hazard panel and more. I did go a little wild, but its fun! :D
