much better but what is the ride like?

Defo it looked really high before on the cup spring's lol. The ride is alot harder but unless you are an oap suffering from spina bifida then you will get used to it and it handles alot better imo :D

Its not the drop that I would be mainly focussing on, is the ride/handling any better?

Much better ride and the handling has massivly improved compared to standard cup i never thought just the spring would do that i thought i was going to have to get coilies !!!

Apex's do give a good ride height look for the £££.. sod the ride comfort that comes with it though, Never again will i touch Apex springs:dead:

Lol that's put me right off now. Couldn't remember if you liked them or not. Was the handling any good?

Handling is pretty mint actually, can throw it round corners with minimal body roll. Bumpy but you get used to it.

Tough decision then, they do look good drop wise, might save up for some V-maxx instead.

looks good fella, afraid I'm with James on this one, the apex's truly are horrible ride wise.

Yes they reduce roll, but they are as hard as nails and make the car twitch & skip at speed & on bumps, they can't even be compared to a mid-range set of coillies such as the V-maxxs which on group buy aren't silly money.

I reckon after 6 months you'll be ready to have them off ;)

just fiited the same springs on my 172 cup this weekend. Honestly don't think the ride is too bad. Was expecting alot worse after reading up on here. The lack of body roll has improved also.
But they do seem very snatchy and jumpy on the back end which is worrying.
I'll probably go for v-maxx when i can afford them

The 'poor ride' is way over-emphasised on Apex's IMO. Yeah it's bumpy and I wouldn't recommend them if you're planning on tracking the car, but for general driving and a bit of enthusiastic road stuff they're absolutely fine.

The stance improvement is well worth it.
