Got my Ktec exhaust

Love it already. Looks mint (Twin 3") and is just starting to settle down now. Lovely round town and a bit of a roar down the motorway.

On the trip home is was very loud but when I went out the next day it had quietened down a bit, must have sealed at the joints etc.

Performance is mildy better too, with a sense of urgency through the gears.

Seriously though, it sounds brill - not much louder than a tuned pipe I had on My MGF.

does the ktec zorst make a nice sound on a 1.2 most definately yes. ive had mine on about 4 months now and it still roars when you want it to. quality is good i would definately recomend them.

well.........id say its my BEST mod so far. It makes the whole driving of the 1.2 so much better.......till we can afford something better! Honestly, if u have been botting it and the exhaust has gotten ROASTING hot........its Immense!

Had both on my 172 over the last month. Both look great but ...


Probably preferred the look of the 6 x 3 since wide stainless tailpipe suited the dimensions of my wide arsed silver Clio. Certainly looked "tougher". Twin 3 looks mint and more classic so bit less sporty.
Reason I switched to the Twin 3 was because is nominally quieter. Tail pipes are silenced/weighted vs. 6 x 3. Certainly quieter at low revs. Still shakes your brain when youre pushing on at 4krpm on the m-way. About 4.5krpm both exhausts sound spot on.
This is on a 172 with a front and back box vs. the single box youll have on a 1.2.

Hmmmm ... hard to tell how much it cost for the fitting, since they did some other diagnostics work for me. Theyve always been much more than fair whens it comes to charging time tho.

Nice on mate, sound lovely dont they.
I have just driven back from watford today and at around 80mph i gets a wee bit to noisey, but I just turn the tunes up and I cant hear it.

Went to pick the wife up from southsea saturday night, she had been out clubbin, couldnt find her but she found me, I just booted it and she apeared and said "Knew that was you!".... Then got followed for a bit by the boyz in blue!

You will also have to get used to people looking at ya now when you are driving along.

ive gotta wait 8 weeks for my exhaust! i cant wait that long! thats almost as bad as waiting for my clio to be made from new! i could get it sooner but if i wait my girlfriend will buy it for me for my 21st!
