Got quoted in 182!

As part of a mystery shop exercise i decided to get a quote for a 182! Bear in mind im 18!

I went for a 182 with both cup packs and metallic paint (was tempted with the recaross but didnt - 550 extra!)

290 a month for 3yrs

5k deposit

You own the car after the 3yrs - he also included GAP in the price and didnt mention the FSA, i could now phone the FSA and get him fired and also get the dealership fined a min 600 pounds. But it could also result in the Sales leader getting prosecuted!

Just thought id share it with you all!

The Financial Services Authority now regulates the Motor Industry.

It basically means that car sales people (like myself) now have to be trained properly to sell products such as GAP, Credit Protection etc.

If you are not trained you cannot sell those products, and if you are trained you need to inform the customer before you start talking about it (i think lol)

If you fail then you get a basic fine, the risk of imprisonment and also the loss of the particular franchise!

BASICALLY it makes buying a car a little bit longer coz theres more paperwork to fill out! lol!

I work for Volvo - im currently on a 2yr training scheme (the first of its kind)

So im getting all this drummed in to me at the moment! lol!
