grande 1.2 8v to 172

hi chaps am in the process of converting my x reg grande in a 172 I have a doner car a x reg 172 low mileage (rear ender) I am just not sure what way to go about it immobilser keys ect am very competent with the mechanical's but wiring im scratching my head just looking for a bit of advice if anyone can help

Just take the number plates off the 1.2 and put them on the 172.

Done.

Lol no because you'll have plates on a damaged car

Swap the whole lot, keys, ecu, uch and you'll be fine. What are you worried about?
