Greening pads?

^Thanks for the thread, looked at that one previously.
Apparently it only occurs when giving the brakes hard usage after treating them easy through running in.
Though I don't understand the science behind the term "greening". Does it mean the pad is initially glazed?
This hasn't happened before, used DS 2500's about three years ago, can't remember if it was straight on to new discs though.
Does this only occur when combining new discs AND new pads?
