grinding noise

hi all just took clio for a drive 2 day as ive not used it for a week due to working away and i can here a grinding noise when im at slow speeds eg 10-15mph im thinking its my brakes but ive checked them and there plenty left on , so i was wondering since it not been used in a week and in gets all dust etc etc on them could it have warped my discs abit ??

check the abs rings on the drivehsfats and drums.

Rust being cleaned off the disks , my car does it a lot as i hardly use it , wheels end up looking brown . Should go after a few miles .

I'd go with that too. I don't drive mine that much & I get it too.

Yeh sound like surface rust. Give it a good run and warm the brakes up - can you still hear it?

surface rust on the disc's hard brake then its gone all car's do it when they have been stood for a few day's

cheers guys yeah must have just been surface dust as it had a blast out 2 trafford centre over weekend and no probs now
