Gunk inside T/B

Just had my filter off to clean it, was full of ****!!! Clearly I need to move my airfeed!!

Anyway, while off I decided to clean the TB out and under the butterfly was a fair bit of black oily stuff. Any ideas???

Is it common for irt to be oily though?? I expected some buildup but not like it was??

yeah cos the oil breather is plumbed back in isnt it causing the black oily stuff.

take off the body and wipe out. wd on a rag should do it. Could this be to do with your wet filter kev?

get a catch tank so the breather isn't blowing oil straight into the inlet

Stock and running a Viper mine used to get dirty then after a full year of running a Maxogen decided to give the TB a clean expecting it to be pretty caked and to my suprise there wasnt one spot of dirt anywhere to be seen! :S Dry as a bone it was.

Power of the IK must be sucking all the grime away lol
