Guy just took the car receipt

Hi guys,

Ive run into a problem.Just sold my car today and the guy took both halves of the car receipt.So basically I havent got one!

Is there anything I can do.I mean hes paid me the cash and Ive got the log book but Can I do anything about it?

Any Help will be appreciated

may be wrong but do you not, not need that other bit once you've sent off the log book to the dvla? they send you a receipt type letter back anyway?

or just phone the guy and get him to bring it back or send it!

Doesn't mean anything tbh.

Just send the logbook off correctly and forget about it.
