H&R coilies - fitting the rears

  Ph1 172
After about 5 hours last sunday I managed to fit my front h&rs to my ph1 172. I didn´t however get round to rears. I am going home in the early hours of monday morning and should have a few hours monday to finish the job by doing the rears.

I was hoping for some tips on what parts I should have left and where things need to go. I have gathered from searching so far there is a rubber that I need to get rid of?? any further info would be great.

Thanks
tom

The part with which you can adjust the height (the springs sit on these) , you'll need a bit of force to get those in from below.. hammer them in with a bit of grease..

excuse my poor choice of words, i'm sure you'll see what i mean when you get busy

cheers, looks like the great british storm may prevent me from doing these till the weekend now.
More time to gather info though

remove the lower rubber but leave the top one in

the bigger platform with the large "hex" shape on the bottom, goes from under the rear of the beam (cover it with grease and knock it in)

then on the other side of the beam the smaller one screws on top of that one, you adjust the hight by this, then set it with the grub screw

then the top hat thing, screws down though these all the way

there is a circlip with sits on the bottom of the thread once its screwed in.
