H&R coilover refurb

I have some H&R coilovers that require a refurb I think, there is play in the piston rod. Has anybody had a similiar problem? Is it a new Insert job or bushes?

I've emailed H&R in Germany but not had a reply, I believe that the damper is a Bilstein unit. Where can you get these refurbed?

No but could be worth a shout as it's local-ish. Thank you.
I don't actually know if they require a refurb, I have just been advised that they do. I need a decent suspension specialist to have a look at them.

My rear dampers are leaking, Fred mentioned there was somewhere near me could refurb them think he said performance cornering but I can't find anything

Are they standard? If so, just replace them £50 each.

yeh they are but my car is low so they will just keep breaking these only lasted couple months

Can get Koni shocks, with or without adjustable damping.

Other than BG motorsport, has anybody had coilovers refurbished elsewhere?
