H&R Coilovers - Adjusting Front ride height...

[V9 GSW]

Had these on a couple of weeks now, loving the handling, but hating the rubbing on the wheel arches. Decided I can live with sacrificing a little ride height to stop the annoying rubbing when you hit a little bump in the ride when cornering hard.

My question is - is it safe to use the H&R spanners with say a nylon hammer to loosen off the collars as they are on pretty tight?

Don't want to damage them so any help would be appreciated.

nylon rubber will be fine, however they normally go with just a bit of brute force so dont be a gay

If they are only a couple weeks old, they shouldnt be proper tight.
