H & R Coilovers

Hello peeps, I'm currently waiting for my H&R coilovers to come from Yozzasport. I've been waiting over a month now (ordered on 15th June). Apparently there is some hold up at the factory in Germany. I am gutted ... really wanted it all done for the summer (got my YS exhaust to be done at the same time ).

Just need some advice really ...

Do I order another make? ... Don't really want to do this as I've heard some horro stories!
Do I keep waiting and hope they come in soon? ... I have paid for them already by the way, hence my frustration!
Or do I try and order from elsewhere?

Any suggestions welcome!

Just as likely to be in the same boat with other makes, but you could ring rond other suppliers who might have some in stock?

Mmm maybe I'll wait another week or so and see what happens. I'm just so frustrated, especially as I've paid for them. But then don't want to rush in and buy something cheaper and regret it afterwards.

What other makes could I try then if I really can't get H&R's? I don't really need anything too pukka as I don't driver like a hoon ... well not all the time anyway! Just want it sitting nice with a reasonably good ride.

Think i'm gonna be in the same boat - I want to order some H&Rs this week.... I'll let you know if I find stock anywhere!

My two cents: Hang fire for another week or so, no point comprimising the quality of the coilovers just to regret it after.

Yeh let me know. I think I need 172 coilovers for mine as my 182 has got non-cupped suspension ... apparently 182 cup models have diffrent bolt spacing and the non-supped are the same as the 172 :S

I can't wait much longer!!! Got the wirggles :rasp:

Yer, we have 54mm bolt spacing and the cup/cup-packed 182s have 60mm iirc

Just enlist the help of some large friends/bags of concrete to create that 'slammed to the floor' look while you wait for H&R to get their ass in gear.

Have just spoken to k-tec ref my dilemma! H & R have told them they can supply this kit within the week? Although I would have to pay another £40 or so as k-tec are slightly more expensive.

Mmm, beginning to wonder what's going on? Either H & R are lying or I'm being taken for a ride elsewhere?! :S

Gonna chase it one more time with YS and if I don't get any joy think I'm gonna cancel and order from k-tec.

Give Yozza a call, explain what you've said on here, he's a decent lad, sure he'll sort you out.

does that price from k-tec include 5% club discount? If not then you may not be paying much if anything over the odds.

Yeh thanx guys, I will speak to him this afternoon. There's something wierd going on. Maybe H & R are saying they can supply in a week when really they can't?

And no I don't think that price k-tec quoted did include club discount ... I will ask the question when I've decided what I'm doing

I have just ordered a set from Europerformance for £738 delivered, they reckon they should be with me in 5-7 days.

I'll keep you posted if they actually turn up!!

So did ktec ring them and they said they'd be available, or are ktec guessing?

Have had trouble getting parts from yozzasport before, so know where you're coming from.
