h7 bulbholders?

bought some 172 sport lights off a member here and completed the conversion as per the guide... unfortunately i havent got the main beam because the seller never included the bulbholder (no mention it was incomplete :dapprove ... where can i buy one? Renault want £15 for each side

are they all the same? just been to a scrapyard they didnt have any of the same dual optic lights and i couldnt find any that looked like they fit!

anyone know any other renaults that have h7's fitted as standard? im going to a french specialist scrap yard because theyve probably got something. Leaving in about 2 hours so if i know what cars to look for it could help loads!

i have a drivers side headlight, not sure which bit you mean, is it the black bit that the bulb fits into?

if so i can get a pic to confirm and i think i may have 2 spare.

Basically this is both headlight units currently look like:

I need the things that sits in that gap to allow a bulb to fit tightly into it. Not sure if its the same on any other renault models or just specific to 172 mk2ph1 headlights.

Damn afroahmed, you got gipped on that one mate!

Before i bought mine off ebay i insisted of seeing shots from behind the headlight unit as well to get a picture of what was included. One of them came with everything including bulbs and the adjuster motor!

Hope you get it sorted. Dont forget to get the allignment done by a garrage to be road legal!

This had no adjuster motor (having to use the old ones, but i suppose they work just the same) and none of the bulholders. I think i did get ripped off a bit and have sent the seller a pm as i bought it in good faith and specifically said im doing a conversion!

Dont forget to get the allignment done by a garrage to be road legal!

Woooaaah... the what from the who now? totally forgot about this! how much should i expect to pay to get that done?

i did mine on my own, but then i knew how high they were before. you shouldn't pay too much tbh to get them aligned to the right height, very easy if you know how high they should be.

Managed to pick up a headlight holder from the scrappies for £1... but they only had the 1!

Btw, i cant for the life of me get the servo to work on one of the headlights? The headlamps move freely within the diaphrams and the servo works fine itself... but once plugged together it has no effect on the height of the beams? any reason why? its driving me mad!!!

I think these lights are fucked tbh
