Had my 172 cup remapped at RS Tuning on Wednesday night.
When I bought the car it had a Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road graph from KTEC racing noting 162bhp - totally standard car.
After purchasing the car I fitted a straight through de-cat, the car has no other mods at all (standard exhaust etc).
The first run at RS Tuning (also Dyno Dynamics) produced 166.5bhp - which either shows a big variance between the RRs or the de-cat added 4bhp?
After about 20minutes Paul had finished his mapped at the car produced 170bhp exactly, or 140.3bhp ATW.
The graph shows the differences before and after. I know the numbers haven't grown very much but I'm all about how something drives not what the end figure is.
The car feels so much more responsive to drive and generally has more 'get up' from any gear - I can't wait to get out on some dry roads with it.
Very happy with RS Tuning , would recommend them
