Half leather seats into 172 Cup - issues?

Going to be picking up complete half leather interior to put into my Cup but unsure if I will run into issues with airbag warning lights etc.

Obviously the Cup doesnt have seat airbags so do I need to stick a resistor into the half leather seat to stop any airbag warning lights or can I just leave this unplugged and just plugin in the seatbelt pretensioner plug?

Also, do I need to disconnect the battery before unplugging the pretensioner plug from under the seat?

Been searching the forum but cant find a definitive answer.

If the cup has not got the leads/airbag in the front seats, what would you plug the seat leads into? Im guessing you leave them unplugged?!?!

Wont be that much extra weight, I will just make sure I take a big dump before driving

I would love to stick some nice buckets in but they cost a bomb! The half leather makes for a nice looking upgrade at a much cheaper price. I dont track the car so no real need for buckets

Standard seats weigh a ton. I'm sure when I weighted one it as like 20kg!
