Hands Free for sony ericson

  182 Trophy No. 223
i get my new phone on friday! w800i, and want a hands free kit for it. Is bluetooth any good? And are these kits easy to install by the average persons DIY standards! The sony ericson hcb-700 is about 100 quid posted, look good from what i have read.

Anyone got/had/fitted one themselves, and does the display Look odd on the dash?

Thanks in advance

ive heard the blootooth parrot is meant to be the best one - my mates got one and its easy to use - think easier than the sony ericsson one - although theyve both got good write ups....

i got mine off the for sale section on here...plugs into the back of the stereo and cuts the radio out when a call comes in...great bit of kit easy to fit too and great sound quality

think it originally came from halfords for 100 quid its a similar sort of receiver to this one

I have a Sony Erricson HCB 300 fitted into my car and it is the best bit of kit i have every bought, it allows up to 4 BT Phones to be connect which is great if someone else use the car as they dont have to keep setting the phone up.

I have it running off the HU so when the call comes it mutes the stero, and the speaker and mic that are included are really good quality. I paid just over £90 for the whole lot. The 700 is pretty pointless TBH the screen needs to be somwhere you can see it and out of the way from direct sunlight otherwise you cant see it.

Where my 300 is fitted in my Trophy i can quite easily use voice commands and answer and cancel calls without taking my hand off the wheel.

apparently the parrot is meant to be better than any sony ericsson piece of kit - this is only on what ive heard about them though - never seen any of them in the flesh. A guy i work beside has a parrot and he says its top dog....

have a hunt about on the internet and see what you can find about them!
