Handset for Skype - help me out!

I've had a Skype landline for around 3 years now, so whenever anybody calls the landline number I answer through the laptop or Mac via the built in mic. The quality of the microphones aren't great and I'm constantly scurrying around for a headset to plug in.

I've seen VoIP handsets etc online but I'm not too clued up on them. I basically want a handset which I assume plugs into a BT Homehub router via ethernet and whether the laptop is turned off or on it rings in and out.

Can anybody advise please?

Cheers buddy. I quite like the Cisco ones as we used them at the old agency I worked for, but do you know whether they're compatible with my BT Broadband and line? I read something somewhere they might not be but I'm clueless!
