This is how you do stance. Hero wheels too.

Editing/quality isn't up there, but the car makes up for it.

When you think, it's just a a heavy drop and the right wheels...

Mugen wh*re.

That looks mean... Seibon/Mugen/Spoon hardtops on S2000's are made of win!! I really think the factory hardtop should have been in that "fastback" style

By the time you've spent that for your 300bhp, you could have a good 600+ on a turbo. Get over it.
well, each to their own.

If it was an MX-5, I'd say yes, go boost. But S2000's are all about revs IMO.
Why strangle the sound of the engine by sticking a fan in the exhaust?

Awesome. I love the profile/shape of the front wings when they're dropped hard over a proper offset, with the correct stretch to make it flow into the wheels, stunning.

ever heard a blown s2k?? or any honda... hardly kills the noise lol!!

nitto's are epic wheels.

  2.2 bar shed.
Give me 20 years and ill rustle up something better... Elements for a nice looking car are pretty universal though, decent wheels and stance. You can make a shed look semi acceptable, hell, thats why quite a few 'rat look' cars look decent!

Nice find chris, and i agree this is just wheels and a drop and it works.

sits just nice and the stance isnt broken chasis style which is a nice change...

How tho, the tyre is less than an inch from the lip of the arch! Surely that'll ruin it!?

thats why alot of people run stretched tyres. becuase the tyre is pulling back in it gives you a fair amount of gap inside the arch,
you will probably also find that if any car with this kind of set-up is either on hydraulics, air or has there coilovers set to the hardest settings

i am not saying that the car will handle as well.... it just won't

Not really. A well set-up car can be extremely low yet still have enough stroke to be insanely fast.

J's Racing S2000 is a perfect example. As is the Amuse S2000 & GT1. To look at them, you'd think it was just for looks, but it's just about the quickest thing on a touge run.

The J's car is just insanely quick here.

Did you not look at the video I posted? LOL.

We're saying the same thing! As long as it's set up well, it's not a bad thing. I'm sure that V6 is another example of that.

That said, most of the cars posted in the JDM thread are low for one reason only. It looks better. Not everyone wants to buy certain cars for purist track driving.

Can't watch video's in the office wee guy!

No, i agree, but there's low and then there's silly low. I.e that s2k would look better higher and would then; actually survive a blast with a cup in the twisties. (Wouldn't win tho)...

I doubt the owner could give a flying fluorescent f**k that it wouldnt have a cup in the twisties. Its stanced like that because its all part of the look hes going for. Dosent matter if the drivability is compromised.

That blue one looks awesome!!!

I think standard S2000s look a bit plain and boring, but with some subtle mods they can look awesome!

The cup in the twisties was a joke 'esse'

It very may well be for the 'look he's going for' but come the first bump he'll be ripping the front fender off!

Ah well, a smooth transition into the 'rat look'

Next.
