Hard Disk recorder to put all my DVDs on?

What i'm looking for is a basically a hard disk recorder that will letme put all my DVDs (also video files from my computer) on it then be able to sellect the film i want to watch like you do on an iPod for music.

Don't think i want a media center PC as i want it to turn on straight away like a nomal DVD player.

Is anything like this available?

Yes. How many is a few DVD's though

A few DVD's to me is 8 or 9

How big's a DVD?

I remember a Blackadder one came up about 8gb on my laptop when I tried to copy it then realised I couldn't LOL

You can buy a Tb of storage for about £200 now though that I've seen, but that would be just a hard-drive.

How you accessed that from your TV would be the tricky bit...

use an xbox 360 to watch them on thats what ive done

Don't think the Archos is really what i want. I'm more looking for the TB of storage idea.

The xbox is where the idea came from. Xbox media center but looking for something with a bit more structure for browsing the films, like genre, title etc rather than having to pic the drive etc.
