has any1 got LED style indicator bulbs?

thinking of getting some of ebay, the 24 LED type for the clio- wanna get rid of that orange 'glow' behind the lens when bulb isint illuminated- esp on rear. BUT i had some standard fillament bulbs which were silver, and they were so dim, i threw them out- i recon they were bordering on dangerous in the daytime!!
SO QUESTION IS.... ANYONE GOT THEM? ARE THEY AS BRIGHT AS A 'NORMAL' BULB?

I thought the Led indicators and side light were illegal? May be wrong, and they are very bright. My mate changed his interior light to an led side light (same fittment) and it lit up his car, dunno what ones he had.

I'd imagine that they won't br as bright when looking directly at them, especially in day/sunlight, as LED's are like that.

plus they can mess up the flasher relay and make it think a lamp has gone and flash quickly

SHouldnt be illegal as long as they are orange coloured.

I use chromed blubs (Silvervisions). Seems fine to me!
