Has anyone bought a warrenty from renault???

hi there iv just bought my self a lovely 182 cup packs, And she as just gone on 35k
i'm taking her to birchdown in a week or two ie cam/aux belts+pullys,

but im thinking after that i might buy a warrenty from my local renault dealership,
Ive just phoned them for a price, and it came in at £550 for 3yrs, to be honest i thought
that wasnt bad really, but they said they would need to do a service on her 1st,

my 182 has got full renault service,.....am i just wasting money ere or is this a common thing to do ???, i just want to make sure my 182 is always going to be treated and looked
after 110%,i just wanted to kno if this is the norm, and get your feedback,

All repairs and servicing?

If it covers repairs, then it might be worth it. I've just had to fork out £400 just on a UCH, so would have almost paid for itself by now.

indeed which warranty is it, the standard or the extended warranty? i have a 2 year extended warranty for £250, which covers pretty much everything!

Depends entirely on the warranty itself.

If its a RAC/Warranty Holdings/Warranty 2000 type warranty, then tbh its a waste of money. If its a genuine Renault Harmony warranty then they are bloody brilliant and £550 is cheap for a car of that age!

youve got me there, ....im gonna get back on the phone to them 2mw,
and find out everything i need to kno,...i was jus toying wi the idea ,

my 182 isnt under warrenty at the mo, so i will let you kno the out come ok ppl,
